About me

Dr. Arash Izadi is a qualified Attorney at Law, International Legal Advisor, Arbitrator, and Law Professor, and the founding principal of the Izadi International Law & Arbitration Institute (مؤسسه حقوقی و داوری بین‌المللی دکتر ایزدی و همکاران), headquartered in Tehran, Iran, He holds Tehran Bar Practice License No. 45840. He has been a Partner at Izadi Law Firm since 2009. Dr. Izadi obtained his Ph.D. in International Law from Xiamen University (厦门大学), People's Republic of China (2011–2015, China Scholarship Council awardee), and served as Postdoctoral Researcher and Assistant Professor at the KoGuan Law School, Shanghai Jiao Tong University (上海交通大学) (2016–2018). He holds an LL.M. from Peking University . He is a certified and currently serving panel arbitrator with a broad range of international and regional institutions, including the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC) — recently securing his third consecutive term (2026–2031) — the Shanghai International Arbitration Center (SHIAC), the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA), the Beijing International Arbitration Center (BIAC), the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board (KCAB) (panel membership renewed, 2026), the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC), the Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (ACIC), and the Arbitration Center of the Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, among others. Dr. Izadi maintains broad expertise in international dispute resolution, cross-border commercial and trade transactions, foreign investment, maritime disputes, and intellectual property, with particular emphasis on Iran–China legal matters — a specialization he has developed since 2011. He is a Professor of International Commercial Law, Private International Law, and International Arbitration at law faculties in Tehran, Iran, and has delivered guest lectures internationally as well. He is the author of three published works, most recently Arbitration Law of the People's Republic of China (Incorporating the 2025 Amendments), co-authored with Attorney Saeedeh Gardeshkhah (Jangal Legal Publications, Tehran, 2026).
