Passionate professional with 15+ years’ experience in European civil law jurisdiction and Canadian Common Law, managing criminal law cases as a defense lawyer and immigration law. Innovative and successful, highly effective at developing case strategies and writing persuasive briefs. Thrives in dynamic environments and quickly adapts to the ever-changing demands of the legal field. The experience gained throughout my legal education and career involve the following: • making appearances at courts and administrative tribunals, conducting client interviews and discoveries. • drafting retainers, reporting or concluding letters, assisting with client interviews or client verification processes. • conducting legal research and analysis, gathering facts through interviews, online searches, due diligence or other discovery processes. • drafting briefs, research memos, written submissions, pleadings, court orders, releases or contracts, assisting in negotiation processes or preparing affidavits of documents; and, • docketing, maintaining client files, use of tickler systems or processes, preparing bills, engaging in client conflict management processes, assisting with trust accounting matters.
