With a rich professional history spanning twenty years, Gavin has dedicated his career to mastering the subtleties of UK immigration law and compliance. His journey began within the UK government’s Home Office, where for thirteen years he honed his expertise in a variety of roles, including as a visa officer at embassies around the world, a front-line Immigration Officer, and within compliance units. These formative years at the helm of UKVI’s frontline operations provided Gavin with deep insights into the intricacies of visa applications and immigration enforcement, laying the foundation for his high success rate in later years. Gavin’s transition to the private sector saw him take on senior strategic roles at ‘Big 4’ consulting firms, where he further enriched his understanding of UK immigration, developing sophisticated strategies and a practical, solution driven approach to navigating its ever-evolving landscape. The culmination of Gavin’s experience led to the founding of Immtell, where he continues to offer a breadth of services including strategic immigration planning, process optimisation, operational oversight, and comprehensive auditing. His firm also extends its support to all types of UK visa applications and business support, including start-ups. Gavin is a regulated immigration lawyer by the UK’s Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC).
